Virgin Atlantic Globalflyer ‘Ultimate Flight’ to land at Manston

Kent International Airport is set to play its part in the Virgin Atlantic GlobalFlyer’s Ultimate Flight.

Multi-millionaire businessman turned record-breaker and adventurer Steve Fossett is attempting to fly further than any manned plane or balloon has ever flown.

He will land the aircraft at Kent International Airport on Saturday evening, approximately 80 hours after taking off from NASA’s Kennedy Space Centre at noon (GMT) on Wednesday February 8.
